Xiaomi has announed several new devices on Thursday during a launch event in Beijing. This includes the new Xiaomi MIX Flip 2, the Xiaomi YU7 electric vehicle, a bunch of AIoT devices, and the new Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro 12.5-inch tablet that we’re focusing on in this article.
The tablet boasts the company’s in-house SoC, the XRING 01, which is a 3-nm chip with deca-core CPU and 16-core Immortalis GPU.
Display-wise, it sports a 12.5-inch 3.2K LCD panel running at up to 144Hz refresh rate and has a peak brightness of 1000 nits.
Notably, there’s a Matte Glass version—specifically covered by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for added screen protection. The regular version gets a layer of Panda X glass.
The rear protrudes a single 50-megapixel camera alongside a flicker sensor and LED flash. At the front sees a 32-megapixel selfie shooter.
Despite the large 10,610mAh battery, the tablet measures only 5.8mm and weighs around 576 grams. For charging, it gets 120W HyperCharge that charges the tablet to full in 36 minutes, as advertised.
