Asus tablets to land on March 25

Asus unveiled their Android-powered and Windows-based slate PCs last CES 2011 and true to their word, they’re launching all of them in the Philippines before end of this quarter.

Here’s an invite we got yesterday that mentioned 4 new top of the line products and a teaser shot of what is obviously a tablet PC.

They’ve got both Android and Windows 7 tablets on the roster — Asus Eee Slate EP121, Eee Pad MeMo, Eee Pad Transformer and Eee Pad Slider.

I’m hoping they’ll be affordable this time, considering the iPad has already gained momentum. More on this once we get final details on specs and local pricing.

  1. lovely! i am on the hunt for a portable netbook/pad that is easy to the pockets!

  2. uu nga.. sana not more than 25 or even lesser! I really wanna buy an android tablet.. I also wish they will be using honeycomb already..

  3. Wow… another tablet. Wish I could get a tablet soon… preferably an iPad :)

  4. looks like tablets are invading the market na ah.. :D

  5. this tablet is simply the most powerful tablet in the world because it comes with a core i5 processor…this thing can even kill an ipad 2!!!

  6. Ay, ayaw ko na hintay iPad 2. Ito na lang hihintayin ko at ako ay bibili. Magkano ba talaga, kuya?

  7. iPad2? hmmm…if you already have an iOS device. It’s better to get an android Honeycomb tablet para maiba naman.

  8. keyboard is a big plus for me (reason why I chose Desire Z over other androids). It is interesting to see products like Transformer and Slider. I hope it can live to the hype.

otherwise, it’s BB Tablet for me.

  9. mm…..it does come with an in-built digitizer. Boon for those who love to draw with a pressure sentitive stylus. Plus, it has a full O.S., making it easy for it to communicate with your desktop, laptops etc. (via Microsoft Live Mesh). Let’s not forget the Gorilla glass and 64 GB SSD. At USD1,000.00, it’s a reasonable price.

  10. Any updated news regarding this tablet?

  11. Wala bang update nito? March 25 pa ‘to, ah. Bitin namang review na ‘to. Walang continue.

  12. Any updates? April na. Any new on pricing? I’m really interested in the transformer.

  13. Sir Yuga!! Please update us on these slates, I want the EP121!! T_T

  14. if anyone knows a reliable vendor of this tablet in manila, paki-post naman. yung bricks and mortar ha.
