Intel announces limited edition 8th Gen Intel Core i7-8086K processor

Intel is giving out a limited edition 8th Gen Intel Core i7-8086K processor for the celebration of the 40th anniversary of the first 8086 processor which was introduced 40 years ago.

The Intel 8086 processor was first introduced last June 8, 1978. The limited edition 8th Gen Intel Core i7-8086K processor has 6-core, 12 threads, and integrated graphics in an 1151-pin package that supports 64-bit instruction set. It can go up to 5.0GHz single-core turbo frequency. For users who like to overclock their processors, then you’d be happy to know that the processor supports it.

The processor is limited as Intel will only give away 8,086 copies of them starting on June 7, 5 pm (PDT), and will only last for 24 hours. To enter their giveaway, participants should visit the site giveaway here.
