LG UX10, yet another tablet

Listen to article

Looks like 2010 is fast becoming the year of the tablet PC. LG also showed their tablet prototype at Computex called the LG UX10.

It’s another Windows 7 powered tablet/slate PC with a (somewhat) netbook configuration — a 10.1″ LED display, Intel Atom Z530 1.66GHz, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, 1GB RAM, SD card slot, 1.3MP webcam and micro-HDMI port. It’s also got a high-capacity battery (7200mAh) to boot {via}.

This reminds me of that digital photo-frame LG Electronics gave us during our last visit to Korea. It was the one I used in my April Fool’s joke (YugaTech Android Tablet).

I have reservation though if LG will bring this tablet to the Philippines considering they haven’t even shipped their netbooks to our shores.

Puro tablet/pad naman ngayun. Sabagay sa mga OEM naman konting tweak lang ng machine nila, pwede na gumawa ng tablet type. Kase ung mga specs naman halos galing sa netbook less the keyboard.

another tablet??!!! This is starting to look like the PC revolution… where apple came up with their own personal computer then IBM… then lots of IBM clones. now its apple tablet again then lots and lots of clone tablet using another OS.

and I bet Android/Microsoft is similing ear to ear, since no matter who the manufacturer is… they still get the OSes for their tablet.

Since Apple got a head start on this one, we really cannot tell if the additional component/support (camera, additional RAM, alternative OS “Win7/Android” and more RAM).
