New MSI GT83VR Titan SLI comes with Cherry MX mechanical keyboard

The MSI GT83VR Titan SLI gets refresh this year using the latest Intel Kaby Lake processors and the ability to support dual NVidia GeForce GTX 170 or 1080 graphics cards as well as a new Cherry MX Speed Silver mechanical keyboard to boot.

With the new Intel Kaby Lake processors, gamers are expected somewhere between 15% (non-OC) to 25% (over-clocked) in CPU performance boost compared to the previous generation.

The GT83VR will run on either Intel Core i7-7920HQ (up to 4.1GHz quad-core) or Core i7-7820HK (up to 3.9Ghz quad-core) with Intel HD Graphics 630. You can customize it to have either 32GB or 64GB DDR4 RAM, dual 256GB SSD or a 128GB NVE SSDs (M.2) paired with a 1TB HDD 7,200rpm for storage.

The 18.4-inch display has a full HD resolution optimized for gaming. The new mechanical keyboard uses a Cherry MX Speed Silver which is also configurable using SteelSeries Engine 3.

The earlier model of the MSI GT83VR 6RF-017PH Titan SLI (with dual GTX 1080, 8GB GDDR5X) originally sold for Php299,000 in the Philippines back in August 2016 so we’re expecting the new GT83VR to be priced within the vicinity.
