VAIO announces a Mercedes-Benz special edition laptop

VAIO has just announced a special edition of its existing notebook to appeal to car lovers.

The VAIO Z Mercedes-Benz Collection is a special edition notebook with a Mercedes Benz logo engraved on its hinge and touchpad, the name of the car maker above the keyboard, and an image of a Mercedes-Benz car, either the Vision Tokyo concept car or a classic 300SL, on the lid. Also, it makes car noises when booting up.

Spec-wise, it’s got an Intel Skylake processor options and a 13.3-inch display @ 2560 x 1440 pixel touchscreen display. It has a unique hinge design which basically makes it the VAIO Z Flip that was announced last year.
