Sony a7R II Now Official

Sony continues to expand its range of mirrorless full-frame camera with the launch of the new Sony a7R II. It’s the world’s first mirrorless camera to feature a back-illuminated 35mm sensor that has a 42.4-megapixel resolution.

Other notable features of the new Sony a7R II include a 5-axis image stabilization which is rated at 4.5 stops, improved shutter mechanism that’s rated to 500,000 actuations, ability to shoot 4K videos at 30fps, and the addition of on-sensor phase detection autofocus system with a total of 399 autofocus points.
