That’s the reason why LG Philippines has sent out documents to all its dealers run a promotional campaign around last week of April or first week of May to coincide with the projected release of the Zenfone 2 in the Philippines.
One of the biggest dealers of LG handsets is pushing for a huge promotional sale campaign for the G2 and the G Pro 2 sometime late April or early May to coincide with the release of the Zenfone 2 in the Philippines.
We received a rather incomplete part of the documents (in Excel) being circulated to dealers so we’re reproducing the details here.
The new suggested retail price will be Php12,990USD 221INR 18,765EUR 211CNY 1,612 but it also comes with a second LG phone for free, the LG L40. Worth Php3,490USD 59INR 5,042EUR 57CNY 433, this puts the LG G2 at Php9,500USD 162INR 13,724EUR 154CNY 1,179.
Also shown in the leaked document the actual dealer price of the handsets which is Php11,690USD 199INR 16,887EUR 190CNY 1,451 for the 16GB model and Php13,490USD 230INR 19,488EUR 219CNY 1,674 for the 32GB model.
The suggested retail price for the 32GB model is Php14,990USD 255INR 21,655EUR 243CNY 1,860 and it comes with more freebies like the LG Window Case, a powerbank and an LG L40 smartphone.
The same promo price is pegged for the LG G Pro 2 with has 3GB of RAM.

The 16GB G Pro 2 will be priced at Php14,990USD 255INR 21,655EUR 243CNY 1,860 and will be sold with a free LG L40 smartphone.
Asus is set to launch the Zenfone 2 this May and due to the huge anticipation (Asus exec confirms their distributor is shipping 300,000 units), the sale of midrange handsets (Php10k to Php15k) have largely slowed down according to retailers.
Update: We’re correcting our earlier rumor that this is an LG-wide campaign but apparently, we were sent clarifications that it could be a dealer-initiated promo. Regardless, the details of the prices remain the same. Of course, it’s weird that the documents we received also indicated the dealer price and sales margins. Perhaps this is only for selected dealers in the Philippines.

Good move by LG. But let’s wait for the official announcement by Asus. SD800 still rocks! I am interested with the Pro.
cK says:
Looks to me they are clearing some space for the G4, which will be released around that time as well
G4 says:
malaking challenge to!

zenfone2 the 4GRAM version
design TIE subjective
but the G pro 2 does have removable cover and battery.
g2’s slimmest bezels is a good
sakit sa ulo.
LG’s supports updates is better for these phones.
NotaSheep says:
Well shit, if they did this earlier i would have bought THIS instead .____.
fgfcc says:
Ramdam na nila ang paparating na si Zenfone 2.
Ibang brands susunod sa ginawa ni LG. And this will be a good favor for us consumers.
Zobel says:
300,000 people are gonna be disappointed hihihi! good move by LG. Mas magiging interesado sana ako kung dual sim and dual LTE to. I really can’t wait what would happen when Alcatel Flash +is released. Ngayong pumatol na ang leading global brands pihadong mababawasan ang sponsorship money ng mga sporting events nito. Good riddance!
john says:
no doubt im gonna pick the lg g2. the camera is way better than the crappy, gimmicky, overhyped camera on the zenfone 2. Di parin makacompete ang quality ng camera ni ZF2 sa mga flagship cameras kahit sa mga narelease 2-3 years ago. Sobrang noisy parin ng photos at video, then yung dynamic range is still not so good. This is a really great move from LG. Lg G2’s camera is also one of the best in 2014, together with the much improved LG G3 *OIS FTW.
Another reason is the LG G2 has better display quality in terms of contrast ratio and maximum brightness though theyre both IPS.
It is also a flagship phone from LG 2 years ago. And it is always a good idea to buy a flagship phone even though it is 2-3 years old than buying a recent midrange phone. sad to say but di na ata ako tutuloy sa zenfone 2. Di ko to inexpect. haha.
SunCell Subscriber says:
Mehh.. what’s the fuss about?
I myself would be interested in buying the G2 at P9.5k, okay even at P10k. But if you’re going to include a crappy low end phone so you could sell it to me at P13k, no deal.
Mark says:
This is actually better than the overhyped ZF2. ASUS disappoints us with marketing the fast-charging variant with 2.3 GHz processor, but releasing degraded version… Well, if the rumor is true.
tray says:
reason for considering the zf2 is brand and price. LG is also a great brand. but the price is higher. so people with limited budget will go for the zf2. if LG is really serious in expanding their customer base, they should price their older flagship models within range of zf2 prices. otherwise, im going with zf2.

meizu m1 note or g2? ok din kc ung deal ng g2. pwede ko pa ibigay yung l40 sa mother in law ko. haha!
kulas says:
A very good move for LG!!!! I’m definitely going for LG G pro now :)
Becarefulwitmyscreen says:
Magbasa muna reviews ng g2 before buying. Hint: screen
Ex-G2 user.
ROCK says:
Take note na compatible both LG G2 at LG G Pro 2 sa quick charge 2.0
dealer says:
Most consumer prefer what is new, what is everybody talking about.
LG babaaan ang price, but consumer will think, kase may bago na lalabas. Hindi din sila halos bibili. Base yan sa experience namin as dealer in the south.
And it only means Asus brand is a force na sa mobile. LG ang tagal na sa market, and yet wala halos kaming benta, less than 100 units.
Asus..average 100 units weekly, since last year pa upon launching!
More phone sa consumer hands, mas marami maka-experience, mas marami nakakita, mas malaki chance na bumenta ulit sa consumer.
just my 2 cents!
fwiw says:
cunning move by LG.
I’d buy the G2 at 10K but not at 13K with a crappy phone in tow.
Ken says:
but the G3 is at 15,900..
JAMES says:
Luckily, I had just tried to use LG G2 last night and had it compared with my Zenfone5. Surprisingly, I loved how my ZF5 paved my initial (tho, not in depth tests). They both have 2GB RAM, the G2 takes everything when it comes to display. But the Cameras? Well, see if t for yourself. Cameras on G2 both show more light at low light but lacks details. (well that was just initial and it’s night then) but considering the higher resolution in G2 front and rear snappers should win, but the otherwise. The phone lags too much that I can’t think of any reason, I checked all the running, cached, and multitasked apps and cleared them but still, I don’t find it that fluid. Well these are just my two cents. But G2 design, screen are the best. Think they should remove the L4 from the freebie and have it priced lower.
rion says:
Guys, you should compare the camera shots GSM Arena with the G2 and zenfone 2. you would notice G2 has better exposure balancing and punchier colors than ZF2, but G2 shots are more blurry and they glow compared to ZF2. Although ZF2 Optimization feature shots should have been turned off the avoid water color effect in close view.

When is the official date of this LG SALE?
JFV_noB says:
Wait, I’m confused. Is LG going to offer G2 without L40 for 9500php?
r2d2 says:
LG shouldn’t do this kind of promotion. Including unsold phone models in a package will only make buyers think twice. What are they gonna do with that extra phone if they don’t need it?
They should give buyers options with other packages instead or just outright price discounts.
Headcracker says:
So sa May 2015 pa itong sale na to?
