For the 3rd year in a row, the Search Engine Marketing Conference 2009 is all set to happen this October 1 & 2, 2009. As usual, we’ll have a whole new line-up of search marketing topics to fill the 2-day conference shared by practicing internet marketing experts.

Hard-core topics include SEO Ranking Factors for 2009, Writing Killer PPC Ad Copy, Twisted Twitter Tactics, Video SEO and Extreme Local SEO Tactics.

For marketing and agency people, we also have topics such as See the Big and the Small Picture using Web Analytics, How to Measure Online Media Values, 20 Ways to Build Your Brand Online, and How to Run a Successful Internet Marketing Agency.

For webmasters and forum owners, we have topics on how to manage huge sites. Jedi Dancel will share the success story behind Tsikot.com.

Just like the previous two conferences, we will also have site clinics. The Macalua, RJ of Sulit.com.ph, Hans Koch and I will be in this panel giving delegates tons of tips and recommendations on how to improve and efficiently manage their sites.

If you want to register or learn more about the conference, please call Fiera de Manila at the following numbers: (02) 896.06.39, / 896.06.37 and 899.62.16 or email [email protected] or [email protected]. Venue is at the Hotel Intercontinental, Makati City.

Registration is Php9,500 for two days, inclusive of meals and conference kits but if you sign up before end of the month, we have a 10% discount (group discount is 4 + 1 free). For students, inquire about our academic discounts.

SemCon 2009 is brought to you by IMVSolutions, Fiera de Manila and YugaTech.

I’ll be giving away free tickets to this conference to several bloggers via a blog contest/giveaway. Watch out for that next week.

  9. I attended last year’s SEMCON before I got lay-off from Auction Philippines. Now that I have a new better website to promote, I’ll be attending the SEMCON in October for sure. ehehehe

  10. We have similar conferences in Los Angeles but unfortunately most of them costs way too much money to attend. Although it is very much worth it if you plan on working in the field because you pick up soo many innovative ideas not just from the speakers but from other attendees.

  11. This looks fun. Care to share 2 tickets for me and my editor in chief? Hehe!

  12. Gusto ko maka attend, wow “Search Engine Marketing Conference 2009”… sali ako jan sa contest sana manalo me.. escape muna me sa collage studies if I win free ticket… hehehe kahit one thicket lang… ako lang naman ang mula sa dulong northern Philippines bigyan nyo ako ng chance… hihihi

  13. Sayang sana timing sa bakasyon ko. Problem is nandito na ko sa Qatar during that time.

  14. Thanks for the info Sir Abe.
Sir, kelan po ung pa contest mo for free tickets for the SEMCON 2009? Gonna try my luck. Hope to join this event and see some gurus of internet Marketing. :)

  15. Really excited on this one but would be far better if it has marketing strategies targeting Facebook.

    Social Media Marketing!!!

  16. Ang sarap sana maka-attend nito, kaso ang mahal ng tickets! Dahil na din sa venue. Sana yung nag-organize nito gawing mas affordable ang tickets para mas marami ang makapunta. It would be great also kung marami pa ang mag-organize ng ganitong mga conference. Sali ako sa contest!!!

  17. I would also like to join this event.
Hope that I will some free tickets to the event.
I already told this to some of my friends.
    Thanks in advance

  18. I think I know the topics that will be discussed in this conference. “SEO Ranking Factors for 2009, Writing Killer PPC Ad Copy, Twisted Twitter Tactics, Video SEO and Extreme Local SEO Tactics”

I’ve already implemented this in my blog and now I am having a lot of traffic on my very young blog (barely 3 months old. I have almost beaten some blogs and sites that were years in existence. Alexa ranking is gong up on a daily basis.

But my goal is to at least reach your blog’s success. You’re one of the bloggers that I look up to.

I’m figuring out how you are doing it. And I know I will learn it in time.

Again more power to your blog!

  19. I already registered and will make the payment on or before Sept 15. This is really great and excited already about the topics to be discussed on the conference.

  20. this is something to look forward to….I hope we have more of these….

  21. I’ve done some training myself but mostly reading about seo google advices. But I’m grateful for some tips i’ve found in this site http://www.ctrzone.com it did help me a lot… Thanks yugatech for informing us about this…

  22. When I was a kid, I attempted to do the same thing and damn
    near destroyed myself.
