Android 6.0 now seeding to ASUS Zenfone 2 Laser

Good news for those who own a Zenfone 2 Laser! Your much-awaited update to a newer version of Android is here.

UPDATE: Zenfone 2 Laser (ZE500KL) also gets updated to version 6.0.

The update is specifically for the ZE550KL model and the version is numbered as V21.40.1220.1615. This will bring in the Android 6.0 Marshmallow goodness plus more of ASUS’ tweaks to the UI and it will remove the following bloatware that comes pre-loaded before:

4. ASUS Backup
5. Dr. Safety
6. What’s Next
7. Party Link
8. Remote Link
9. PC Link
10. Yahoo Shopping
11. EZ Ding

15. Dr. Eye
16. Google+
17. Puffin Browser
18. Mirror
19. Google Settings (Integrated in ASUS Settings)

Also, the ASUS Email, Calendar, and Messaging will be replaced by Google’s own services. Dr. Booster will also be installed. Be sure check out if it’s already available for your device by heading to the System Update settings.
