Google’s Snapseed receives a major update

Snapseed, which was acquired by Google a few years back, is a free photo-editing app which now gets its first major update in two years. For those who are regular users of this app you now have additional tools like filters, lens blur, tonal contrast, and more.

Here is the full list of what fresh things to expect when you go for the update:

  • New tools including Lens Blur, Tonal Contrast, intelligent perspective Transform, and Spot Healing.
  • Selectively apply filters and effects to parts of the image using the Brush tool.
  • Non-destructive editing via Stacks allows you to re-edit or undo any change. You can also copy edits from one image to another.
