At last year's MAX conference, Adobe unveiled Project Nimbus, their upcoming RAW-capable cloud-native photo editing app. Snapseed, which was acquired by Google a few years back, is a free photo-editing app which now gets its first major update in two years. To download the update and start editing your photos head on over to the Play Store or the App Store. Image Playground Gets Photorealistic Generation and New Editing Tools in iOS 27 Image Playground in iOS 27 is a significant step up from what shipped in iOS 26. All image processing runs on Private Cloud Compute and your photos are never stored or shared, even with Apple. All three features show up in a new dedicated editing section inside Photos that groups every Apple Intelligence tool together. The feature includes album management, ratings, collections, Lightroom catalog import support, Apple Photos integration, and GPU-accelerated batch exports. For photographers, DaVinci Resolve 21 adds support for Canon CR3, Panasonic RW2, Fujifilm RAF, Apple ProRAW, and newer Sony ARW RAW formats.
