Netflix has officially announced the end of their DVD rental services on Tuesday, April 18.

It’s an end of an era as Netflix has tweeted out that they will close their doors to DVD rental business.

“Our goal has always been to provide the best service for our members but as the business continues to shrink that’s going to become increasingly difficult. So we want to go out on a high, and will be shipping our final discs on September 29, 2023,” as said by Netflix’s co-chief executive officer

Netflix will officially send their last DVDs on September 29. The company has been in the DVD rental business since 1998.
