Alongside the announcement of the Nokia N1, the Finnish giant also released the device’s skin — the Z Launcher — on Google’s Play store yesterday as a public beta.

Along with a personalized home screen that changes and adapts to your needs throughout the day, the launcher also features screen gesture scribble instant searches: a gesture of a letter in your launcher will give you a result of apps, people and websites that matter to you the most.

The app is now available as an open public beta in the Google Play store, and will initially support only a few devices running Android Jellybean 4.1 and later. Among those include, but are not limited to:
- Nexus 5
- Samsung Galaxy S3
- Samsung Galaxy S4
- Samsung Galaxy S5
- Motorola Moto X
- Motorola Moto G
- HTC One M7
- HTC One M8
For those who can’t download the launcher via the Play Store, you can download the app through its website.

It is a very simple and snappy launcher. It lacks features though. It is good for people who are in the minimalistic approach.
