Opera Air has been unveiled as a new browser built to promote mindfulness and relaxation.
One of its standout features is Take a Break. This has four modes, which includes breathing exercises, neck exercises, mediation, and full body scans.
Breathing exercises help users reduce stress and blood pressure. Neck exercises work with Opera Air guiding users through some simple stretches for your neck.
Meditation sessions help users improve focus, awareness, and general mindfulness. Full body scans is another form of meditation which focuses on different parts of your body. In essence, it helps users become aware of how they feel.
The Take a Break feature can be accessed with the Ctrl + K or Cmd + K shortcut. It can also be triggered automatically on a timer based on user preferences.
Different exercises take varying amounts of time from 3-6 minutes (breathing) to 7-15 minutes (full body scan). Plus, each exercise is guided with recordings from real voice actors and not AI.
Another feature it has is called Boosts. It’s based on Binaural Beats, which users may be familiar with on YouTube and the like. This feature mixes binaural beats, background music, and ambient sound. Users get to control the volume of each component used, so feel free to tailor it to personal preference.
Lastly, Opera Air starts your day with a positive quote on the Speed Dial screen. This browser joins Opera One and Opera GX as another addition of the company’s major UI redesigns.
