Skype introduces background blur setting

Skype announced that their call and messaging program has implemented a background blur function.

The background blur in Skype is similar to the background blur setting in Microsoft Teams. Users can enable the function through the Skype settings; toggling the function on will have the background subtly blurred, leaving the user as the focal point.

The function utilizes artificial intelligence (AI) in both Skype and Microsoft Teams. Background blur is now available on desktops and laptops with the latest Skype update.
