Following the confirmation that both the Xperia T2 Ultra and Xperia C3 will receive Android Lollipop update, Sony Mobile provided more details of when existing Xperia users can expect the Android 5.0 update to arrive on their device.
In a short post on their official blog, the Sony Mobile team stated that users of Xperia Z3 Dual, Xperia Z1, Xperia Z1 Compact, and Xperia Z Ultra should expect the update anytime soon.
Meanwhile, Sony Xperia T2 UItra and Xperia C3 users can expect the update to arrive sometime next week.
In the weeks after that, Sony is planning to roll out the Android 5.0 update for the first members of the Xperia Z lineup which include the Xperia Z1, Xperia ZL, Xperia ZRand Xperia Tablet Z.
Got my Lollipop 5.0.2 upgrade 3 days ago for Sony Xperia Z Ultra. Not really improved OS and only the Camera improved better. Some 3rd party apps didn’t work better.
