Twitch rolls out Watch Parties feature

Live streaming video platform Twitch rolls out a new feature that allows you to hold Watch Parties with the help of Amazon Prime Video.

Through this Watch Parties feature, users can connect with others while enjoying watching movies or TV shows together. It also has “Share the screen” feature in which the user’s webcam can be in the video player at the top of the Chat and other people can see your reactions during the Watch Party. Moreover, it allows viewers around the world to participate in the Watch Parties if it is available in their area.

Here’s the guide on how to start the Watch Party:
1. Add the Watch Party Quick Action to your Stream Manager
2. Connect Watch Parties to your Prime/Prime Video account
3. Choose the movie or TV show
4. Go live with your webcam
5. Start the Watch Party.

Meanwhile, Twitch is still working on the availability of this feature on mobile devices which is expected to launch in the coming months.
