Meanwhile, Vince Yamat, managing director of 917Ventures, commended the government for supporting the switch to electric vehicles and stressed the need of enabling legislation for the development of electric vehicles in the nation. Globe, through 917Ventures, has announced its partnership with Puregold to bring in a new online grocery shopping platform called PureGo. “Aside from convenience, it also offers consumers affordability and safety in doing their groceries,” said Griffin Golamco, Entrepreneur-in-Residence at 917Ventures. 917Ventures, a corporate incubator in the Philippines under Ayala Corporation, launches a regional venture incubation program for innovators in e-commerce, fintech, health tech, and adtech sectors based in Southeast Asia. Previous businesses that were nurtured by 917Ventures include GCash, AdSpark, and KonsultaMD. 917Ventures, a corporate incubator owned by Globe, is collaborating with ACHealth to create the HealthNow app. Powering HealthNow are the assets of both 917Ventures and ACHealth, including KonsultaMD, FamilyDOC, Healthway, and Generika.
