Acer has announced the Revo Build M1-601 - a modular mini PC that lets you upgrade or customize certain components by simply stacking "Blocks" on top of the base unit. Acer will gradually roll out more expansion Blocks in the future. The Acer Revo Build M1-601 will be available in China in December starting at 1,999 Yuan (~Php15,000). The Acer Timeline notebook boasts of up to 8 hours battery life and sports a nice slim design (slimmer than most netbooks). Most of the Acer notebooks I've seen around are ugly and bulky but the Acer Timeline series changed that impression. The 13.3" Acer Timeline costs more at around Php45,000 while the 14" has a retail price of Php39,990. I should have said "Have you seen the Acer Aspire One" but didn't bother to argue anymore. Just 5 days after the new 10" Acer Aspire One has been formally announced, the new model is ready for pre-oder with a suggested retail price of Php25,995.
