About a year ago, I started playing with Amazon Associates plugin for Wordpress to add affiliate links to several posts that I have. Back then, I thought that most of my traffic were local or coming from the Philippines so running Amazon affiliate ads wouldn't do much good. Nevertheless, I'm a bit amazed to learn that during the course of the entire year, some of the affiliate links I've added managed to close a couple of sales from Amazon. Was talking to Connie the other week when she pointed me to a nice script called Associate-o-matic which you can add to your blog to feature affiliate products from Amazon. The challenge here now actually is to run Amazon Associates alongside pre-existing ads like Adsense, TLA, etc. Anyone here successfully monetizing their blogs or websites via Amazon Associates? Amazon today announced their very own smartphone called the Amazon Fire Phone. Just snap a photo of an item or let it listen to a music or video and it will give you the product's information as well as its link to the Amazon store.
