Amazon Operation Services is set to hire more than 500 remote workers in the Philippines. Amazon is on the lookout for full-time customer service professionals who can run night shifts. Employees are expected to cater to customer inquiries and work towards providing a high level of service under Amazon standards. Applicants may apply for the roles of remote customer service associate or remote team manager at Amazon.jobs. Those selected today were invited to the company’s job fair in Davao City to learn about next steps for hiring. Amazon today announced their very own smartphone called the Amazon Fire Phone. Just snap a photo of an item or let it listen to a music or video and it will give you the product's information as well as its link to the Amazon store. Amazon may launch its satellite internet service, called Project Kuiper (also known as Amazon LEO), in the Philippines as early as this year, according to Henry Aguda.
