During the Asus press launch this morning, the Taiwanese company unveiled a number of computers and peripherals under their ROG line (Republic of Gamers). Of the lot, the Asus Tytan CG8890 got most of my attention. There have been several ROG Tytan PC before but this one features their latest design and hardware configuration. Asus ROG Tytan CG8890 specs: Intel Core i7 3960X 3.3GHz 6-core Intel X79 chipset NVidia GTX 690 16GB DDR3 RAM 2133MHz 2TB SATA HDD 7200rpm 2 x 128GB SSD Asus Xonar DX Bluray Writer Some parts of the system is hidden but when the Tytan spreads its wings, you'd see how cool the casing is. The Asus Tytan features an 8-way aerodynamic thermal solution. Asus Philippines will finally launch the newer edition of its Eee PC series this week. After last month's launching at Computex in Taiwan, Asus is bringing here the 10-inch Eee PC 1000. From the Asus website, looks like they'd be coming out with 6 shiny colors of the Asus Eee PC -- Red, Green, Black, Peony White, Pearl White and Fine Ebony.
