After PLDT’s recent award for the fastest ISP at Ookla Speedtest Award for Q1-Q2 for 2022, PLDT is now having another milestone for receiving Smart’s Ookla award as the Fastest and Best Mobile Network in the Country. It is a rare distinction for Smart to get this award for there are only 20 mobile operators worldwide that earn the title of Best Mobile Network and the first and only mobile operator in the Philippines to get it since the Ookla Speedtest started last 2017. For a mobile operator to get this award, the operator must lead in the Fastest Mobile Network and Best Mobile Coverage at the same time during the testing period. For the Best Mobile Coverage, Smart surpasses Globe with a Coverage score of 794.
