Yes, you read it right -- Sky Broadband is offering up to 112Mbps residential cable internet. Sky Broadband reps tell me the theoretical speed is 112Mbps down and 5Mbps up. Sun Cellular Wireless Broadband has upgraded its network to 3.5G (HSDPA) and dropped its unlimited monthly subscription fees to Sun subscribers. Sun Cellular has upgraded it's 3G to speeds up to 2Mbps. Existing Sun Postpaid Subscribers can also avail of the Wireless Broadband plan for an additional Php649 on their MSF. To address this issue, the team upgraded its servers and enhanced the system. DICT is also planning more upgrades as new services are added soon.
