Canon has announced to bring in the PowerShot PICK— an automated camera, to the Philippines. The Canon PowerShot PICK is a pocket-sized, hands-free automated camera. The PowerShot PICK uses a 1/2.3-inch 11.7MP CMOS image sensor. According to Canon, the PowerShot PICK combines Canon's optical, video processing, and artificial intelligence technology. Users may also connect the PowerShot PICK to their smartphone or tablet via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth using the “Connect app for Mini PTZ Cam” app. Among the dozens of new P&S cameras that Canon Philippines introduced yesterday, the Powershot D10 attracted the most curiosity. Actually, the Canon Powershot D10 can be considered as a submersible since you can bring it on a diving trip up to a depth of 10 meters (33 ft). Video capture using dSLR seems to be the in thing now -- the Canon Rebel T1i features 16:9 720p HD video capture at 30 fps as well as a Full HD 1080p video capture at 20 fps, and a third option to record 4:3 standard TV quality (SD) video capture at 640 x 480 pixels and 30 fps.
