Canon has officially introduced the new Canon EOS R6 V, a hybrid-focused full-frame mirrorless camera designed for both professional video creators and photographers. Alongside it, Canon also unveiled the new Canon RF 24-105mm f/2.8L IS USM PZ, the company’s first-ever L-series power zoom lens for the RF system. Canon claims the camera is built to deliver improved autofocus performance, faster readout speeds, and enhanced video capabilities for hybrid creators. It also supports Canon Log 2 and Canon Log 3 for more flexible color grading workflows. Meanwhile, the RF 24-105mm f/2.8L IS USM PZ introduces built-in power zoom functionality to Canon’s RF lineup. Pricing starts at USD 2,499 for the body only, while the RF20-50mm F4 L IS USM PZ lens is priced at USD 1,399. Samyang has officially unveiled its AF 12mm f/2 RF-S Ultra-Wide Angle Prime Lens, marking its entry into Canon’s RF-S mount ecosystem. This lens is designed for landscape, architecture, and night photography, offering a fast aperture and a wide 96.8-degree field of view.
