The GCash cashless payment method will be available for GrabCar, GrabFood, GrabMart, GrabExpress, and other Grab services and is slated to be available on the Grab app this February. For regular Grab users who prefer cashless payments, this enables them to avoid transfer fees going as high as Php 50. The Department of Transportation (DOTr) will begin the implementation of a cashless transaction system using beep cards on public utility buses (PUBs) of the EDSA Busway System. PayMaya partners with the government on cashless and contactless transactions such as paying of taxes, remitting of pension dues, applying of business permits, and others. PayMaya now added the Land Transportation Office (LTO), the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the City of Taguig, the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHL), and the Optical Media Board (OMB) to its government partners for cashless transactions. Home Credit now offers cashless and contactless online payment of loans and bills through its digital payment channels.
