Since the successful 31st SEA Games competition conducted in Vietnam in May 2022, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Pro Series - SEA Campus (MPS SEA Campus) will be the game's first international venue. ESCA Vietnam and the Collegiate Center for Esports (CCE) will collaborate on the MPS SEA Campus initiative for the first time, which will mark the beginning of many events for student communities in both nations. The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) has accredited CCE as the sole legitimate esports student tournament organizer. CCE also promotes esports events generally and the Mobile Legends student community. After a series of calls and text messages, the program supervisor called me asking to verify an alleged layoff at Accenture Manila that very day. The reason behind was that Accenture Manila has become overcrowded with project developers and consultants with no assignments or have prior projects that have been canceled or indefinitely put on hold. This development may not be a big surprise as Accenture (like many other multinational companies in the country) has been doing some belt-tightening measures since last year.
