Microsoft is letting go of their virtual assistant Cortana from Windows 10 and 11. Microsoft has made an announcement in a support document that states that Cortana will no longer be supported in Windows in late 2023. The document gives you options to transition away from Cortana. As Bing is now AI-powered, it is able to answer complex questions similar to Cortana as users can type or speak to the AI. Cortana will still exist through Microsoft's Outlook and Teams, but this may be the start of the end for the virtual assistant. Microsoft has announced that their digital personal assistant, Cortana, is no longer available on Android and iOS. Microsoft has shut down Cortana on mobile effective March 31, 2021.
