Vivo has announced the entry-level V5 with its 20MP front camera as well as the dual front cam-touting, mid-range X9 and X9 Plus. After teasing us with its promotional image last time, Chinese manufacturer Vivo has now officially announced its X9 and X9 Plus smartphones that feature a dual front camera setup in addition to a Snapdragon CPU and up to 6GB RAM. A report states that we could be seeing dual Leica cameras like the P9 -- but better. The analyst went on to report that this dual rear camera setup is also to be implemented on the iPhone 7 Plus but unlike the Leica optics that have one monochrome sensor and one colored, iPhone's dual rear system will both have colored sensors. It also offers 256GB of storage, dual-band Wi-Fi, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
