Qualcomm has announced today a strategic technology collaboration aimed at helping accelerate the digital transformation of premium car brand, Ferrari. Qualcomm Technologies will serve as Ferrari’s system solutions provider for its upcoming Ferrari road cars, as well as a Premium Partner for the Scuderia Ferrari Formula 1 team and Ferrari eSports team. Ferrari says that it will work with Qualcomm Technologies to bring the latest automotive technology advancements to Ferrari road cars utilizing the Snapdragon Digital Chassis. “We believe innovation requires market leaders working together,” said Benedetto Vigna, CEO of Ferrari. Inquirer has reported that a Php190M LaFerrari is about to be delivered here in the Philippines and it is allegedly owned by a local politician. To begin with, the LaFerrari is such a limited edition car that only 499 units are produced worldwide. Dubbed as the fastest and most ambitious powerful Ferrari production car, it carries a 6.3-liter V12 engine that kicks 963PS of power and 900Nm of torque. Its speed reaches over 350kph and for its price, it is basically Ferrari's most expensive model at a converted amount of Php190M not including shipping.
