Cherry Mobile's holiday treat is not a new device, but a new limited edition color option for its budget Flare 4 offering. First released in October, the newest successor to the budget-friendly Flare series sports upgraded specs from its predecessor while keeping the device within the price range its loyal fanbase loved. On the other hand, the Flare 4 and Flare S4 will only let you decide if you want a display with Dragontrail glass, but are willing to sacrifice the Flare 4's aluminum sides for a plastic back. Cherry Mobile is on a roll today and announces a slew of new devices beginning with the Flare 4. During the latter part of September, Cherry Mobile has launched the Flare 2.0 which is part of the second wave of handsets under the local company’s portfolio. Much like its predecessor, there’s nothing really spectacular about the Flare 2.0’s physical attributes. Display The Flare 2.0 is equipped with the same 4-inch WVGA display of its predecessor. However, if you’re not too particular about those little enhancements usually found on a pricier phone, then we think that you should be able to tolerate the Flare 2.0’s shortcoming in the display category.
