OPPO now has its own entry into the very exclusive foldable smartphone segment, finally giving Samsung some real competition. This one, however, is a lot more compact than the Galaxy Z Fold 3, with its folding display at 7.1-inches (vs 7.6-inches) and the cover display at 5.5-inches (vs 6.2-inches). Those aren’t the only cameras though, as we also get one punch-hole selfie camera on the cover screen, and another on the folding screen. Since this is a folding phone, the software we have here is clearly a version of OPPO’s ColorOS that’s optimized for foldables.     Now there's a lot more to this phone than meets the eye, especially when we consider how long it's been in development -- it's the start of a new generation of OPPO smartphones that will be interesting to see unfold. It could function as a smartphone, a tablet, and a notebook all combined in one prototype device. Folding it like a laptop makes it indeed function as a laptop with a keyboard and a screen, while folding it like a 3D building while using the map turns the device into a 3D-printable architectural model.
