Galaxy S24 update

Samsung formally announced the first software update coming to its Galaxy S24 Series this month. The upcoming firmware aims to fix undersaturated displays on the Galaxy S24, S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra, and optimize their camera experience. In its blog post, Samsung says that the Galaxy S24 Series gets “enhanced options and experiences across the device display and camera.” There is now a ‘Vividness’ slider within the display’s Advanced settings. While specifics are lacking, the update should also address camera issues some Galaxy S24 users have encountered. Samsung is preparing its next major software release, One UI 8.5, and dozens of Galaxy devices are already confirmed to be included in the update rollout for 2026. According to a report by SamMobile, Samsung's firmware update policies have given us an idea on which Galaxy smartphones and tablets are eligible for the upcoming Android 13 update under Samsung's ONE UI 5.
