The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) has released the implementing rules and regulations (IRR) for the Konektadong Pinoy (KP) Act, a move expected to make internet services cheaper, faster, and more accessible nationwide. “These permits complement our aggressive builds and roll-outs as we not only increase our capacity and capability but more importantly, we make connectivity possible and accessible in areas that don't have any access to the internet before,” stated by Globe Senior Vice President for Program Delivery under Network Technical Group Joel Agustin. With these established cell sites taking advantage of high frequencies, Globe is looking forward to giving faster Internet access to its subscribers whether they're in Luzon, Visayas, or Mindanao.
