Google Trends has just revealed its "Year in Search 2022" to show the most trending searches in 2022 both globally and in specific countries. Google revealed the top 10 searches in three categories in the Philippines, this includes News, Overall Top Trending Searches, and Sports-related searches. Google has just released their annual year-in search trends for 2018. Google says Gen Z users are now the most active users of AI-powered search, as younger audiences increasingly rely on tools like Gemini for everyday queries. Data shows that 89% of Gen Z users in the Philippines use Google Search every day, alongside similar figures in Indonesia and Thailand. Google said this shift is changing how people use search, from typing keywords to engaging in deeper, back-and-forth queries. Google has launched its desktop app for Windows, bringing its AI-powered search experience beyond the browser and directly into the operating system. The app integrates Google’s AI Mode into Windows, allowing users to search the web, files, and apps using natural language without opening a browser.
