So far, the focus has been on illegal operators: unlicensed platforms are considered a “social ogre” and the government is pursuing those aggressively. The Cybercrime Investigation and Coordinating Center has submitted 15 social media personalities to the Philippine National Police Anti-Cybercrime Group for possible case build-up after observing their alleged continued promotion of unlicensed online gambling websites.
