Straight out of Taiwan, MediaTek has just announced the launch of two upgraded mobile processors -- the Helio X23 and Helio X27. “The MediaTek Helio platform fulfills the diverse needs of device makers. Based on the success of MediaTek Helio X20 and X25, we are introducing the upgraded MediaTek Helio X23 and X27. MediaTek continues to up their game in the chipset race as we know their plans to release a Helio X30 processor early next year. In addition to that, it looks like a more capable Helio X35 is also well on its way to an official introduction. According to reports, the Helio X35 will be a beefier X30 with its own clocking shooting up to 3.0GHz. Cherry Mobile has just launched its newest smartphone for the market and it's the first to sport the latest MediaTek Helio X20 in the country and also, the first local brand to put in USB Type-C and 4GB of RAM. The main highlight of the M1 is its Helio X20 processor -- a deca-core chipset running at a max clock speed of 2.3GHz.
