Instagram has globally released a feature that allows users to add music to their profile. Meta's Instagram has released a new feature that is gradually being rolled out globally to its users. Other new Instagram features that involve music consist of an Add Yours music sticker, adding music to carousel posts, and being able to add up to twenty (20) soundtracks in one reel. To add a song to your Instagram profile, simply go to your profile and click 'Edit Profile'. Adding a song from your Spotify library is possible as long as your account is linked to Instagram. So far, this feature is only available for mobile users. Instagram recently rolled out an update to their mobile app allowing users to post media content taken more than 24 hours ago to their Instagram stories. While Instagram always supported posting previously-taken pictures and videos to your Story, it had one limitation, the media content had to be taken less than 24 hours ago or else it won't be part of the Story gallery.
