Apple has released the first iOS 11.3 Developer Beta today after publishing a press release for the next major update with new features to come, including new Animoji, health records in the Health app and a toggle for disabling processor throttling and slowed performance in iPhones. Both features will be coming in a later iOS 11.3 beta release. Advanced Mobile Location (AML)—iOS 11.3 can automatically send your current location when making a call to emergency services in countries where AML is supported. Rolling out with iOS 26 and watchOS 26 Beta 7, the updated feature is now available for Apple Watch Series 9, Series 10, and Apple Watch Ultra 2 units sold in the U.S. The redesigned functionality first appeared with iOS 18.6.1 and watchOS 11.6.1, and is now making its way to beta testers on Apple’s latest platforms.
