Might be a little late but Globe Telecom is now offering the Apple iPad 2 on My Super Plan Unli Surf Combo which is Php999 a month. The prepaid plans are exactly the same as the suggested retail price posted on the Apple Online Store (my guess is that these iPads are unlocked). The postpaid plans offer a subsidized cost of up to Php10,000 for each of the iPad models. The prepaid kit doesn't look convincing though since you can get the iPad 2 from other sources at a bit lower price. So it's not a surprise that Globe Telecom has dropped its Globe Visibility Mobile Prepaid kit down to just Php3,500. Globe started offering their new prepaid and postpaid plans for Visibility back in June 23 when we first reported it here. People have been asking that since Globe Visibility has obviously moved into the flat prepaid and tiered postpaid models, what will happen to subscribers who are on the GV Unlimited plans?
