Starting on March 15, Angkas, JoyRide, and MoveIt will suspend its operations. Sun Cellular Wireless Broadband has upgraded its network to 3.5G (HSDPA) and dropped its unlimited monthly subscription fees to Sun subscribers. Existing Sun Postpaid Subscribers can also avail of the Wireless Broadband plan for an additional Php649 on their MSF. Companies including JoyRide, Angkas, Move It, and Grab confirmed that they have lowered their commission cuts to help ease the financial burden on drivers affected by increasing fuel costs. JoyRide said it reduced its commission for four-wheel vehicles from 20% to 15%, with some drivers able to bring it down further to 10% through incentives tied to activity levels.
