LRT-1 private operator Light Rail Manila Corporation (LRMC) announced that they would be implementing shortened holiday schedule on December 24 (Chrismas Eve) and December 31 (New Year's Eve). LRT-1 will be Business As Usual on December 25, 2021 (Christmas Day), December 30, 2021 (Rizal Day), and January 1, 2022 (New Year's Day) with the regular weekends/holiday schedule. Light Rail Manila Corporation has recently shared its trip schedule for the LRT-1 on the upcoming holidays. On Christmas Eve, LRT-1’s operating schedule will be from 4:30 AM to 8:00 PM both bounds. Meanwhile, the operation for both bounds on New Year's Eve will be from 4:30 AM to 7:00 PM, LRT-1 will continue to serve passengers on December 25 (Christmas Day), December 30 (Rizal Day), and January 1 (New Year’s Day) following the regular weekend schedule. However, the last trip in the Baclaran station is scheduled at 9:30 PM while it is 9:45 PM for the Balintawak station.
