As of June 2024, a rumor suggested HMD (the company behind Nokia phones) might launch a device codenamed 'Tomcat' with a classic Lumia 'Fabula' design, speculated to be called 'Skyline'. However, this contradicts an earlier rumor about a direct Nokia Lumia revival. The expected specs for this rumored device include a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset, a 108MP main camera, and a 4900mAh battery. HMD has not confirmed any details.

Based on YugaTech's camera blind tests, the Nokia Lumia 1020 with its 41-megapixel PureView camera and Xenon flash was a standout. In a 2016 comparison, it won overall against the LG V10, taking better photos in categories like general shots, zoom, macro, and video quality. It also competed closely with its successor, the Lumia 950 XL, in a separate blind test.

When launched in the Philippines in December 2015, the Microsoft Lumia 950 had a price tag of Php 28,990, while the larger Lumia 950 XL was priced at Php 32,990. The Microsoft Display Dock, which enabled the Continuum feature to use these phones as a desktop PC, was sold separately for Php 3,330 to Php 3,390.
