#MediaTek Dimensity 820

MediaTek introduces a new 5G-capable processor for upper mid-range smartphones, the Dimensity 820 chip. The Dimensity 820 combines advancements in artificial intelligence, multimedia, and imaging. As a fully-fledged 5G processor, the Dimensity 820 comes with Carrier Aggregation (CA) technology for seamless handover between two 5G connection areas. The Dimensity 820 also supports dual SIM, dual standby for 5G connectivity, Voice over New Radio (VoNR) services, and is designed for locations with sub-6GHz 5G networks in North America, Asia, and Europe. MediaTek has introduced the Dimensity 7500, its latest smartphone chipset designed for mainstream devices and the successor to the Dimensity 7400. Built using a 4nm process, the Dimensity 7500 is the first MediaTek chipset to use Arm’s new C1 CPU cores. MediaTek has unveiled the Dimensity 9500s, a powerful new chip aimed at sub-flagship smartphones, sitting just below the top-tier Dimensity 9500. MediaTek has quietly announced its newest mid-range chipset, the Dimensity 7100, stepping up as the latest option for upcoming 5G smartphones.
