MediaTek has just unveiled their latest flagship processor with the MediaTek Dimensity 9500.

MediaTek uses their own 3rd-generation All Big Core design. This features one C1-Ultra, three C1-Premium, and four C1-Pro cores in an octa-core layout.
For memory and storage, the Dimensity 9500 supports LPDDR5X at up to 10667MHz, paired with 4-lane UFS 4.1 storage. Graphics and gaming are stepped up too as it uses the ARM Mali-G1 Ultra MC12 GPU.
On the camera and video sensors, the chip enables support for up to 320MP sensors, 4K120 video capture with EIS, 4K60 cinematic mode, and 8K60 video decoding.
Connectivity-wise, there’s a modern 5G with sub-6GHz speeds and global band support. Bluetooth 6.0 with dual engine support, Wi-Fi 7 with tri-band concurrency and a peak 7.3 Gbps data rate are supported.
It’s said that the vivo X300 series will be the first device to be powered by the chip globally. The first smartphone to run it is the OPPO Find X9 series that will launch in China this September.
