Finnish game developer and publisher, Next Games, known for its The Walking Dead games, has announced that they will launch a mobile game title based on the Netflix original series, Stranger Things. Its a location-based puzzle RPG game with Google Maps integration and will take place in the Stranger Things universe, including The Upside Down, in the style of an 80's Saturday morning cartoon. “We are huge fans of Stranger Things and thrilled to work together with Netflix to bring our shared vision of Stranger Things into life in a mobile game format. Combined with Netflix’s second-to none ability to reach audiences across the globe, we will deploy all of our accumulated creative and technological expertise to create a game for the fans of the series all around the world," said Teemu Huuhtanen, CEO, Next Games. The Stranger Things mobile game is currently slated for release in 2020 on iOS and Android platforms. For the past couple of weeks, I've been spending like 4 to 6 hours on average everyday playing a couple of PC games. I only stick to one or two games though so I don't think I'm a heavy gamer. Last night, while playing DOTA, I realized I've been addicted to this game since 1996 when I first discovered it.
