Netflix has been currently testing a new feature that allows users to play content randomly on their screen. Dubbed as Shuffle Play, the new feature has an algorithm that lets subscribers watch a show or a movie that they have been currently seeing, saved on their list, or something similar from the titles they previously watched. According to the report from The Verge, Netflix has been running the Shuffle Play feature in various countries for different seasons of time. A similar feature named Play Something has also been spotted by Twitter users Chaby Digital on the smart TV version of the Netflix app. Netflix now prevents smartphones from pausing the program you are streaming with its newest 'screen lock' button.
