Nintendo Switch OLED launch

Nintendo has officially announced the latest Nintendo Switch OLED along with its specs, pricing, and target release date. According to Nintendo, the new display will feature a more vivid and power-saving screen compared to the original Switch. However, Nintendo has officially told The Verge that the new system "does not have a new CPU, or more RAM, from previous Nintendo Switch Models." It will also remain with 1080p output on docked mode rather than an upgrade to 4K resolution. All previously released Joy-Con for Nintendo Switch are compatible with this new model. While fully compatible with most games released in the older models, the new console's display will not yet be able to support all the design parameters of the Nintendo Labo series. The Nintendo Switch OLED is priced at USD 349.99, and it will be officially released on October 8. Users can use the funds to buy content on any of these consoles and systems until 27 March 2023 if they have linked their Nintendo Network ID funds (used on the Nintendo eShop for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS) with the funds attached to their Nintendo Account (used on the Nintendo Switch eShop).
